California High School Basketball - Olympian nips St. Augustine
January 20, 2024: San Diego, CA 92104 Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA), 36-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Olympian upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to play the Titans in a bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Eastlake lost 49-40 in their recent non-league bout against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA)
Next up, the Saints play the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. St. Augustine will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 25-24 league win over Grossmont (El Cajon, CA).
