The North Gem Cowboys basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting American Heritage Patriots to 17 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cowboys now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leadore for a 1A II Rocky Mountain contest on Monday, January 22. North Gem will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 33-15 league win over Watersprings (Idaho Falls, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-3.

The Patriots (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Challis (Challis, ID). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Challis was routed by Grace (Grace, ID), 52-12, in a league contest.
