Missouri High School Basketball - Highland crushes Mark Twain
January 20, 2024: Center, MO 63436 Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO), 48-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to clash with the Panthers in a Clarence Cannon bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Monroe City won 48-32 in their recent non-league bout against Canton (Canton, MO)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Macon Tigers (Macon, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Mark Twain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 60-37 league loss to South Shelby (Shelbina, MO).
