Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 59-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Leola/Frederick upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to play the Braves in a B Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Britton-Hecla won 57-33 in their recent league bout against Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND) in a B District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
