Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) and the host Lincoln Trojans (Stockton, CA), saw Piedmont's basketball squad hold off Lincoln by a tally of 46-43.

With the victory, Piedmont improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to confront the Pirates in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. San Leandro lost 71-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Oakland (Oakland, CA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA) in a Tri-City Athletic League challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 46-19 league win over West (Tracy, CA).
