Illinois High School Basketball - Moline ripped by Loyola Academy
January 20, 2024: Moline, IL 61265 The Loyola Academy Ramblers basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Moline Maroons to 42 in the Ramblers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Ramblers now sport a 26-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Loyola Academy will meet a Wildkits team coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 9-12.
The Maroons (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Panthers enter the Western Big 6 contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, East Moline United was routed by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 65-37, in a non-league contest.
