Ohio High School Basketball - Minford fells McClain
January 20, 2024: Greenfield, OH 45123 Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH), 36-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Minford upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Falcons host Valley (Lucasville, OH) to clash with the Indians in a Southern Ohio III bout on Monday, January 22. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Valley lost 39-25 in their recent league bout against South Webster (South Webster, OH)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. McClain will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 68-32 league win over Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH).
