Colorado High School Basketball - Pueblo Centennial holds off Sierra
January 20, 2024: Colorado Springs, CO 80916 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs (Pueblo, CO) and the host Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Pueblo Centennial's basketball squad hold off Sierra by a tally of 48-44.
With the victory, Pueblo Centennial improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO) to confront the Cyclones in a 5A/4A South Central challenge on Monday, January 22. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Pueblo West won 50-42 in their recent league challenge against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO)
Next up, the Stallions confront the Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) in a 5A/4A Colorado Springs Metro - North challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Sierra will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 59-23 league win over Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO).
