January 20, 2024: Lutz, FL 33558 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Plant City Raiders (Plant City, FL) and the host Steinbrenner Warriors (Lutz, FL), saw Plant City's basketball squad knock off Steinbrenner by a tally of 50-39.
With the victory, Plant City improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Freedom (Tampa, FL) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Freedom lost 51-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Wharton (Tampa, FL)
Next up, the Warriors play the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Steinbrenner will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 36-25 league loss to Largo (Largo, FL).
