Louisiana High School Basketball - Southside defeats Booker T. Washington
January 20, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70113 The Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) basketball were winner over the host Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA), 60-44 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Sharks now possess a 16-13 record. They play next when they travel to Comeaux for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Southside will play a Spartans team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-19.
With the loss, Booker T. Washington falls to 13-19 on the campaign. The Lions host Cohen (New Orleans, LA) to play the Green Hornets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Green Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-16.
