January 20, 2025: St. Peters, MO 63376 Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO), 66-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lutheran advances its record to 2-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Alton (Alton, IL) to encounter the Redbirds in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 24. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Alton lost 66-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO)
In their next game, the Cavaliers encounter the Hallsville Indians (Hallsville, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Capital City will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
