The College Prep of America Thunder (Lombard, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks (Chicago, IL), 55-45 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Thunder now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Daystar Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. College Prep of America will play a Falcons team coming off a 42-30 non-league loss to Disney II (Chicago, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 0-7.
