Washington High School Basketball - Mark Morris triumphant over Evergreen
January 20, 2025: Longview, WA 98632 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) and the visiting Evergreen Plainsmen (Vancouver, WA), observed Mark Morris's basketball team overwhelm Evergreen by a score of 64-41.
The Monarchs (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Beavers come into the 2A Greater St. Helens challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Woodland was routed by Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA), 71-28, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Plainsmen encounter the Prairie Falcons (Vancouver, WA) in a 3A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Evergreen will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 56-55 league loss to Mountain View (Vancouver, WA).
