Mississippi High School Basketball - Forest Hill fells McComb
January 20, 2025: Jackson, MS 39212 The Forest Hill Patriots basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting McComb Tigers to 31 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now have a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Pearl River Central for a 6A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 21. Forest Hill will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 45-30 league loss to Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-12.
With the loss, McComb falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lanier (Jackson, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 6 game on Friday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 17-4. Lanier won 55-44 in their recent non-league game against Morton (Morton, MS)
