January 20, 2025: Northwood, ND 58240 The Hatton/Northwood Thunder basketball squad (Northwood, ND), was outscored 61-50 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN)
With the victory, Maple River advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to St. Clair (St. Clair, MN) to meet the Cyclones in a AA Section 2 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Cyclones enter the battle with a record of 6-9. St. Clair lost 63-48 in their recent non-league battle against Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN)
The Thunder now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] for a B District 4 battle on Thursday, January 23. Hatton/Northwood will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-40 league win over Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] (Lakota, ND). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
