The Hoboken Redwings (Hoboken, NJ) basketball were winner over the host Newark Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), 72-61 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Redwings now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Bergen for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23.

With the loss, Newark Central falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to West Side (Newark, NJ) to play the Roughriders in a Super Essex - American bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 3-3. West Side won 82-42 in their recent non-league bout against Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ)
