Georgia High School Basketball - Unity Christian knocks off New Creation Christian Academy
January 20, 2025: McDonough, GA 30252 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Unity Christian Lions (Rome, GA) and the host New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders (McDonough, GA), observed Unity Christian's basketball team overcome New Creation Christian Academy by a score of 63-54.
The Lions (4-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherokee Christian (Woodstock, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Cherokee Christian dropped by Furtah Prep (Acworth, GA), 80-60, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Young Americans Christian Eagles (Conyers, GA) in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 24. New Creation Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 70-53 league loss to Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA).
