New Jersey High School Basketball - Williamstown can't hold off Vineland
January 20, 2025: Vineland, NJ 08361 Vineland Fighting Clan (Vineland, NJ) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Williamstown Braves (Williamstown, NJ), 36-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Vineland advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Fighting Clan travel to Buena (Buena, NJ) to face the Chiefs in a Cape/Atlantic - United match on Tuesday, January 21. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 3-6. Buena won 47-30 in their recent league match against Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ)
The Braves now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Regional for a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. Williamstown will face a Tartans squad coming off a 48-44 league loss to Delsea (Franklinville, NJ). The Tartans record now stands at 2-9.
