Illinois High School Basketball - Galena fells Harlem
January 20, 2025: Machesney Park, IL 61115 The Galena Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Harlem Huskies to 36 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hall for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Galena will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 68-54 non-league loss to Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-7.
With the loss, Harlem falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Huskies host Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL) to confront the Blue Thunder in a Northern Illinois 10 game on Friday, January 24. The Blue Thunder go into the game with a record of 7-15.
