Iowa High School Basketball - Madrid routs Greene County
January 20, 2025: Madrid, IA 50156 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Madrid Tigers basketball team scored a big 58-35 win over the Greene County Rams.
The Tigers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Hawks come into the West Central contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Woodward-Granger smashed Interstate 35 (Truro, IA), 44-19, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa contest, on Friday, January 24. Greene County will attempt to better on its 0-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 13-2 record after their 63-20 league win over Saydel (Des Moines, IA).
