Iowa High School Basketball - Notre Dame fells Wapello
January 20, 2025: Wapello, IA 52653 The Notre Dame Nikes basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Wapello Indians to 35 in the Nikes non-league triumph on Monday.
The Nikes now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Mediapolis for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Notre Dame will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-12 non-league win over Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-1.
With the loss, Wapello falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA) to confront the Ravens in a SEI - North game on Tuesday, January 21. The Ravens go into the game with a record of 6-5. Hillcrest Academy won 63-43 in their recent league game against Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA)
