Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shaler Area bests Upper St. Clair
January 20, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15209 The Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball toppled the visiting Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA), 59-47 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Titans now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Plum for a WPIAL 5A 1 bout on Thursday, January 23. Shaler Area will play a Mustangs team coming off a 60-51 league loss to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Upper St. Clair falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA) to play the Big Macs in a WPIAL 6A 2 bout on Friday, January 24. The Big Macs go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Canon-McMillan won 47-37 in their recent non-league bout against Beaver (Beaver, PA)
