Iowa High School Basketball - Western Christian overwhelms St. Mary's
January 20, 2025: Hull, IA 51239 The Western Christian Wolfpack basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting St. Mary's Hawks to 36 in the Wolfpack non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wolfpack now have a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Western Christian will confront a Titans team coming off a 59-46 league loss to Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Titans record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, St. Mary's falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Hawks host Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA) to confront the Westerners in a War Eagle game on Tuesday, January 21. The Westerners go into the game with a record of 8-5. Akron-Westfield won 47-38 in their recent non-league game against George-Little Rock (George, IA)
