In Monday's non-league contest, the host Palo Alto Vikings basketball team scored a big 60-34 triumph over the American Eagles.

The Vikings (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Chargers go into the contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Wilcox was trounced by Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA), 53-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Kennedy Titans (Fremont, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 21. American will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 43-31 non-league loss to Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA).
