California High School Basketball - Del Lago Academy falls to Classical Academy
January 20, 2025: Escondido, CA 92029 The Del Lago Academy Firebirds basketball team (Escondido, CA), was toppled 48-37 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA)
The Caimans (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA). The Stingrays go into the contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Coastal Academy was toppled by Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA), 36-19, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Firebirds confront the Army-Navy Warriors (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Del Lago Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 61-34 league loss to Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA).
