January 20, 2026: Paris, KY 40361 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) and the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), observed Bourbon County's basketball team knock off Pendleton County by a score of 67-57.
With the victory, Bourbon County advances its record to 13-7 on the year. The Colonels host Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 3-13. Menifee County won 51-33 in their recent non-league battle against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY)
The Wildcats now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrison County for a District 38 battle on Friday, January 23. Pendleton County will meet a Thorobreds/Fillies squad coming off a 64-51 non-league loss to Scott (Covington, KY). The Thorobreds/Fillies record now stands at 4-14.
