Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Souderton nips Council Rock South
January 21, 2022: Souderton, PA 18964 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Souderton Indians (Souderton, PA) and the visiting Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA), saw Souderton's basketball squad hold off Council Rock South by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Souderton improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bensalem (Bensalem, PA) to play the Fighting Owls in a Suburban One - National challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Fighting Owls come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Bensalem won 81-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Wissahickon (Ambler, PA)
Next up, the Golden Hawks play the Central Bucks South Titans (Warrington, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Council Rock South will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA).
