The East Union Urchins basketball team (Blue Springs, MS), dropped 64-45 in Friday's league battle with the host Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS)

The Panthers now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitesburg Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 22. Pine Grove will confront a Warriors team coming off a 81-70 non-league win over Athens Bible (Athens, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-13.

The Urchins (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Tupelo Christian Prep beat Vardaman (Vardaman, MS), 78-47, in a non-league battle.
