Texas High School Basketball - Frankston overwhelms Cross Roads
January 21, 2022: Malakoff, TX 75148 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) and the host Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX), saw Frankston's basketball squad wallop Cross Roads by a count of 64-41.
With the victory, Frankston upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX) to play the Flyers in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Bobcats play the Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Cross Roads will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 65-17 league win over Cayuga (Cayuga, TX).
