January 21, 2022: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) and the visiting Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA), saw Mira Costa's basketball squad overcome Culver City by a tally of 61-46.
With the victory, Mira Costa improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to play the Panthers in a Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Peninsula won 60-43 in their recent league challenge against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA)
Next up, the Centaurs play the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Culver City will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Sea Hawks come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA).
