Virginia High School Basketball - Marshall overwhelms Godwin
January 21, 2022: Richmond, VA 23227 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA), saw Marshall's basketball squad wallop Godwin by a tally of 54-31.
With the victory, Marshall improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Justices host Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to confront the Panthers in a Colonial challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Dale Knights (Chester, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 24. Godwin will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 67-49 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA).
