The Paul VI Panthers basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Bishop Walsh Spartans to 42 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John's for a DCSAA AA contest on Tuesday, January 24. Paul VI will meet a Cadets team coming off a 67-53 non-league win over Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Cadets record now stands at 17-1.

The Spartans (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against National Christian Academy White (Fort Washington, MD). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 7-16 record.
