NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, NC GBB Academy National upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Wesley Christian (Allen, KY) to play the in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 22. The go into the bout with a record of 9-17. Wesley Christian lost 86-79 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Chattanooga, TN)

Next up, the Barons play the Moravian Prep Lions (Hudson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 22. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 22-4 record after their 73-67 non-league win over The Rock (Gainesville, FL).
