Ohio High School Basketball - Botkins can't hold off New Bremen
January 21, 2023: New Bremen, OH 45869 The New Bremen Cardinals basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Botkins Trojans to 45 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Celina for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. New Bremen will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-35 non-league loss to Crestview (Convoy, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-12.
The Trojans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Houston (Houston, OH). The Wildcats come into the Shelby County contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Houston was nudged by Anna (Anna, OH), 56-41, in a league contest.
