New Jersey High School Basketball - Calvary Christian fells New Egypt
January 21, 2023: New Egypt, NJ 08533 Calvary Christian Lions (Old Bridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Egypt Warriors (New Egypt, NJ), 56-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Lions travel to East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-16. East Brunswick lost 69-41 in their recent league bout against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ)
Next up, the Warriors play the Maple Shade Wildcats (Maple Shade, NJ) in a Burlco - Freedom bout, on Monday, January 23. New Egypt will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 63-48 league loss to Riverside (Riverside, NJ).
