South Dakota High School Basketball - Clark/Willow Lake nips Canistota
January 21, 2023: Canistota, SD 57012 Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), 47-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Clark/Willow Lake upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD) to play the Panthers in a A Region 2 bout on Monday, January 23. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Great Plains Lutheran won 65-37 in their recent non-league bout against Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Hawks play the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) in a B Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Canistota will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Flyers come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 57-42 non-league loss to Beresford (Beresford, SD).
