New Jersey High School Basketball - Cherokee knocked off by Jackson Memorial
January 21, 2023: Jackson Township, NJ 08527 The Jackson Memorial Jaguars basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Cherokee Chiefs to 28 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Regional for a Shore A - South contest on Friday, January 27.
The Chiefs (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Camden Catholic ran past Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ), 51-49, in a non-league contest.
