Ohio High School Basketball - Coldwater holds off Van Wert
January 21, 2023: Coldwater, OH 45828 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Coldwater Cavaliers (Coldwater, OH) and the visiting Van Wert Cougars (Van Wert, OH), saw Coldwater's basketball squad hold off Van Wert by a tally of 54-52.
With the victory, Coldwater improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Upper Scioto Valley won 60-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Van Wert will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH).
