January 21, 2023: Princeton, MN 55371 The Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) basketball nipped the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), 83-79 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hylanders (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Spartans go into the AAA Section 6 test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Richfield got by Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN), 95-75, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Becker for a AAA Section 5 test on Tuesday, January 24. Princeton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 69-50 non-league loss to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
