Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woodberry Forest Tigers (Woodberry Forest, VA) and the host Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA), saw Woodberry Forest's basketball squad hold off Episcopal by a tally of 54-51.

With the victory, Woodberry Forest improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Collegiate (Richmond, VA) to play the Cougars in a VISAA Division I challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Collegiate won 57-44 in their recent league challenge against Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA)
