Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. Francis de Sales Pioneers (Chicago, IL), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Evergreen Park upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Richards (Oak Lawn, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-13. Richards won 69-58 in their recent league bout against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL)
