New Jersey High School Basketball - Hawthorne Christian knocked off by Manchester Regional
January 21, 2023: Haledon, NJ 07508 The Manchester Regional Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Hawthorne Christian Defenders to 39 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Manchester Regional will meet a Lions team coming off a 74-61 non-league loss to Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 7-13.
The Defenders (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Butler (Butler, NJ). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Butler ran past Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ), 34-26, in a non-league contest.
