Hilliard Red Flashes (Hilliard, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), 70-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hilliard upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Red Flashes host Yulee (Yulee, FL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Yulee lost 68-60 in their recent non-league bout against Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL)

Next up, the Bears play the Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) in a AA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Pierce County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 83-37 league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA).
