California High School Basketball - Murrieta Mesa tipped by Hoover

January 21, 2023: San Diego, CA 92115

The Hoover Cardinals basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Murrieta Mesa Rams to 65 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Jolla for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Hoover will meet a Vikings team coming off a 51-45 league win over Point Loma (San Diego, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-18.

The Rams (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Great Oak (Temecula, CA). The Wolfpack enter the Southwestern contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Great Oak was nudged by La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA), 64-44, in a non-league contest.
