Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) and the visiting Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA), saw Shadow Hills's basketball squad overcome Imperial by a tally of 63-53.

With the victory, Shadow Hills improves its record to 8-16 on the campaign. The Knights host Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA) to confront the Indians in a Desert Empire challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 17-6. Palm Springs won 73-43 in their recent league challenge against La Quinta (La Quinta, CA)

Next up, the Tigers battle the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a Desert battle, on Tuesday, January 24. Imperial will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Scots come into the battle with a 15-4 record after their 48-30 non-league win over Clairemont (San Diego, CA).
