January 21, 2023: Issaquah, WA 98027 The Kentwood Conquerors basketball team (Covington, WA), dropped 70-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA)
The Eagles now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastlake for a 4A KingCo battle on Tuesday, January 24. Issaquah will battle a Wolves team coming off a 71-54 non-league win over River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-12.
The Conquerors (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA). The Rams come into the 3A/4A North Puget Sound battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Mt. Rainier dropped by Kentridge (Kent, WA), 67-39, in a league battle.
