Georgia High School Basketball - Johns Creek knocked off by Mountain View
January 21, 2023: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 The Mountain View Bears basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators to 48 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buford for a AAAAAAA Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Mountain View will meet a Wolves team coming off a 84-47 league win over Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 14-5.
The Gladiators (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Pope (Marietta, GA). The Greyhounds enter the AAAAAA Region 7 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Pope was defeated by Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA), 59-53, in a league contest.
