Kentucky High School Basketball - Mason County overwhelms Johnson Central
January 21, 2023: Maysville, KY 41056 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) and the visiting Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY), saw Mason County's basketball squad wallop Johnson Central by a count of 86-46.
With the victory, Mason County upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Royals host Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-3.
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Johnson Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 110-107 non-league win over Campbell County (Alexandria, KY).
