Nevada High School Basketball - Lund overwhelms McDermitt

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lund Mustangs (Lund, NV) and the visiting McDermitt Bulldogs (McDermitt, NV), saw Lund's basketball squad wallop McDermitt by a count of 72-49.

With the victory, Lund upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to play the Panthers in a 1A Central challenge on Monday, January 23. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Pahranagat Valley lost 58-39 in their recent league challenge against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) in a 1A Eastern challenge, on Friday, January 27. McDermitt will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Rimrock (Bruneau, ID).
