The Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 51-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN). The Golden Falcons go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Winchester Community was tipped by Knightstown (Knightstown, IN), 45-41, in a league test.

The Golden Bears now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Blue River Valley for a Mid-Eastern test on Friday, January 27.
